The Torsus Praetorian is one of the most robust buses in the world, designed to withstand extreme terrains and operate in challenging conditions.
Manufactured in Ukraine, the 35-seat vehicle is nine meters long, nearly four meters high, and has a 300-liter fuel tank. Equipped with all-wheel drive and a 6.9-liter MAN diesel engine, it can traverse water up to 68 cm deep, climb inclines of 65%, and tackle tough terrains thanks to its military-grade air suspension.
Additionally, its advanced air-conditioning system ensures occupant comfort even in extreme temperatures, like those in the Sahara or Australia.
The vehicle is used by emergency teams, including for rescue missions in hostile locations, and can be customized for various roles, such as transport in mining areas, a command center for drones, or a portable crane.
During flooding in Italy, a smaller version of the Praetorian was used as an ambulance. Created in 2014 by Vakhtang Dzhukashvili, inspired by the difficulties of Ukrainian roads during the war, the bus meets specific transport needs in regions where regular vehicles cannot operate.
With a starting price of $253,350, the Praetorian can be sold as a base structure for custom conversions. Recent updates include efficient LED headlights and improvements to the air-conditioning system.
These advancements enhance its versatility and reliability, solidifying it as a practical solution for transportation in challenging environments.
